* Santa Maria’s sounds like like it’s something to see, Olga. I do like an old church, even if I’m not especially religious: they’re amazing buildings. Saint Thomas’s, the Anglican place off Brentwood High Street, is quite something.
Have fun, Saturday: it sounds like you’re in for a treat! (Yes IS Pau using to edit the audio? I tend to use Audacity, it’s a LOT simpler than Apple’s Garage Band: for me, that’s like using an a-bomb to crack a walnut!)
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Does it, Debbi? Have you thought about amputation? *Runs away*! (Actually, on the subject of decapitation? Have you seen what’s happening in France? There’s rioting on the streets, people wearing tricolour sashes … and town halls being burnt down. President Macron may be in trouble, if the phrase ‘Vive la révolution’, gets dug up!)
^ It’s OK, Trevor, I’ll get less potatoes at Sunday dinner.
Q5) Clapton At the Radio station, we use Sound Forge. I only know how to do the basics, but the director can do fancy things (or at least that's what it looks like to me), but then he is a sound technician although does a bit of everything. I saw your comment to Debby about France. Well, we're setting off from there to Alexandria, so I'm wondering, as some days they have blocked the airport. Thankfully (?) I'm travelling there by bus, so that will hopefully not be an issue, at least to get there. The flight out might be a different thing altogether...
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

Let's hope they don't bring back the guillotine.

So is Eric Clapton actually Eric of Clapton? Does the word "hackneyed" derive from the place called Hackney? These questions just occur to me. :)
Well, there is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Borough_of_Hackney
Wow, he is kind of a ... jerk, isn't he? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you could come up with a better word! :)
