Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 11th August 2023

11th August, 2023.

Right … I’ve got my windows open.

It is a bit muggy: not surprising, given it’s overcast, and warm.

But?

Having some fresh air coming in does help.

Even if I can hear the trains going past.

*        Hello, Mum!

        Do you mean Rodolfo Sancho, Olga¶?   Chap that played Júlian?   And, yes, that sounds messy!   Thailand’s a beautiful country, I’m told: but some people wind up in trouble, visiting … !

    Q4) Tree

    Q5) The Woman King
    Yes, Rodolfo Sancho. And yes, I have a writer friend who lives on the same island where his son is incarcerated, and he has written a series of novels set there. His name is John Dolan and I recommend them. (He is British but has lived in many countries over the years. I think I told you that I went to meet him in person, a couple of months ago, as he was visiting with his wife).
    By a strange coincidence, summer being a time for series reruns, they are showing, at the moment, both, a series with Sancho Gracia (Curro Jimenez, I am not sure if that was ever shown in the UK. It is about a real-life Andalucian bandit, a bit of a Robin Hood-like figure, and Rodolfo's father plays the main character), and one with Rodolfo Sancho.
    Things are heating up here, but it is to be expected in the summer. Fingers crossed we don't reach the temperatures in some places (they were talking about 47 degrees Celsius in some places).

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
