† Oh, Sir Terry’s very handy, Olga. And possibly biblical: there’s a quote for everything!
At any rate, I know what you mean about the movies. I believe the Japanese call similar fights, their equivalent movie sword fights, ‘chambara’. They usually involving a lot of clanging, but not a lot of blood, until the villain gets killed. Why on Earth am I thinking of The A Team‖ … ?
‡ Hello, Mum!
§ Oh, yes, straight shooting!
If I recall correctly, Debbi: doesn’t the Second Amendment start with the words, “A well-regulated militia … ”? If I’ve understood it correctly, it’s supposed allowed people to be armed, in case the British invaded.
Again …
(Can you let Rick know he’s a sensible chap … ? Cheers!)
¶ I do five questions: and manage to forget to mention Elizabeth Montgomery, the show’s star. Ho-hum!
Q5) Tabitha Sorry about the weight loss (or lack of it), but I weigh myself daily, and sometimes the difference from one day to the next can be 1.5 kgs, without having eaten anything outrageous, and the next day goes back to normal again. So the trend is more important, but it can be very frustrating. My father was a fan of the A-team, and it didn't matter how many times he might have watched an individual episode, he still enjoyed it. I always told him that, with the A-Team and MacGiver, I couldn't understand why the USA spent so much money on defence!
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I'll be sure and let him know.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right. How anyone could interpret it to mean anyone can own a gun ... well, it baffles me ...
You guys aren't invading anytime soon, right? I mean, the place is a mess. :) And the health care situation ... don't get me started!
