Q9)Berkshire-based AFC Newbury were one of only two English football teams sponsored by Vodaphone. Who was the other: Liverpool, Manchester United or Everton?
Q5) New York (There’s nothing new under the sun, evidently). Eton and Windsor are very nearby. Basically, your cross a small bridge from Eton and are in Windsor and you can see the castle from the main street. I didn't visit Windsor castle, but Eton is very pretty, and as I was there in the summer, it wasn't overrun by students, although they were still doing some activities, because I remember going to a free concert and the students choir was performing. It was very strange to see the shops, where they sold the clothes they are supposed to wear, as they look as if they'd just come out of a Charles Dickens's novel. I am not sure if they still have to wear that kind of clothing everyday, or it is something they only wear on formal occasions. https://collections.etoncollege.com/celebrating-80-years-of-school-dress/
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
