And that’s being polite: there’s a whole pile of British English terms I could be using.
But let’s cut to the chase: the President has announced that the ceasefire in Israel be cancelled, if the remaining Israeli hostages aren’t released by noon, on Saturday.
In his words?
‘Let Hell break out.’
Poking his nose into his is going to make things worse.
There’s also the fact he’s announced Gazan Palestinians be re-homed in places like Egypt or Jordan.
They — appreciably — are not happy with the idea.
I’m not impressed with the man, either.
And would want to ask him one minor question.
If you’re going to insist on re-homing Gazans, on not letting Gazans live in Gaza?
If you’re going to do insist Gazans live elsewhere, why not let them live in the USA?

Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
* Hello, Mum! (Did you say you’re meeting Irene on Thursday?)
† A Government of National Stability, Olga? Re-branding exercises happen faster than you think!
The narration can certainly help Although I don’t think the voice-overs in Lynch’s version of Dune, did.
Buttered popcorn? I forgot about that!
I went by this article, Olga: which tells us it became independent from Italy in 1947. Apparently, it became independent from Britain and France, in 1951 …
‡ It was you that recommended The Cooler to me, Debbi: I’ve still got my copy. Talking of spy novels? I’ve started reading Fleming’s Thunderball: the opening sees Bond in a health farm, being forced to eat whole-grain food. Rather than his usual steak, chips, and forty Woodbines. (Just to be accurate, Bond smoked Senior Service. Which makes sense, given the character’s naval background.)
Q5) the Pope Amen to your comments about Trump. I guess somebody else must have already suggested that he hause the Palestinians from Gaza in the USA because I saw a comment he made about the trip being too long and not thinking they would like that... Yeah, right. Did I mention that you could (I am sure still can) find pretty odd (awful, if you ask me) pizzas in USA supermarkets? I remember going with my friend while we were studying there and seeing pizzas with popcorn and with marshmallows...
I remember in the movie Thunderball, he started off at a health spa. Bond never struck me as one obsessed with a healthy lifestyle. :) Not with all those martinis.

That's right. I did review the book. Didn't I? :)
I have to find it and read it again. So many books, too many!
I need to read more Terry Pratchett! Now more than ever. :)
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
