Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 14th April 2025.

14th April, 2025.

Did I mention Mikey the Rabbit … ?

Mikey was my nephew, Jude’s, pet rabbit: and sadly died on Saturday night/early Sunday morning.

Jude is 14, and owned Mikey for some eleven years.

Like any one that age, utterly heartbroken.

I’m saddened, myself: it’s amazing how close we can get to pets, even at one remove.

Hopefully, though … ?

Jude will recover from this.

But … ?

Mikey will be much missed.

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

The day also saw Olga‡ leaving us a message.

The next ten question set will be on 23rd April: it has a World Book Night theme.

To avoid answers being copied, they will be published tomorrow morning.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

†        Apparently, Debbi, Peter Purves still has elephant related flashbacks.   Oh, while we’re on the subject: here …
Oh, that lorry’s left the doors open: things could fall out …

OK, Olga: hopefully, we’ll catch you later … !

Sorry to hear about Mikey. We only had budgies when I was young, and they didn't last very long, although we got quite attached to them. Give my condolences to Jude when you next talk to him.
I might have told you this before, but I am going on a day excursion with my mother tomorrow. We leave very early in the morning, and I don't know when we'll be back, so I won't be joining the teaser. I hope I'll be able to say hi on Twitter, but do not worry if I don't turn up.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
