† The could be a factor, Olga. Saying that? We have an ‘eat well plate’: that’s supposed to act as a portion guide. I have definitely over done the spuds, going by mine.
Q7) Renaissance (It is a very interesting period. I studied American Literature and we read and talked a lot about this).
Q8) London
Q9) the Spanish Civil War
Q10) 1958 It sounds as if the visit went well. Finger crossed everything comes to pass. I discovered yesterday that one of the events the radio station normally participated in (for Sant Jordi, Saint George, where there are fairs of books, and roses, and writers normally go on stalls and sign their books to their fans), called 'Passeig per la lectura' (Promenade or Walk through reading or literature) where there would be associations talking about literature, people presenting books, and we would do a live programma related to literature and books... Well, it has been cancelled because the local government (Town hall) used to provide funds for it, but no longer. We will do something, but will join another event organised by Castellers, so it will be a bit different, but better than nothing, I guess....

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
