Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 23rd May, 2025.

23rd May, 2025.

In amongst the tennis results that Radio 4’s feeding me, I’m curious.

About life.

About death.

About deeply intense stuff, that can reveal humanity’s heart of darkness, and our place in the universe.

And … ?

I’m wondering what on Earth I’m burbling on, about, now!

Frankly?

I’m blaming getting up early: I’ve got my diabetic review, today.

How that will go … is something I find out at 11.

~≈🕚≈~

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga†, Irene‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

And a song that, supposedly, influenced Monty Norman …

I hope the diabetes review goes well, Paul. The bird was in the nest this morning, but I had to go out quite early, because my mother had to have some routine bloods taken, and when we came back it wasn't there. I imagine they'll come back later. At the moment, they seem to come and go.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
