Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 28th April 2026 Teaser

28th April, 2026.

It’s officially the case: that there’s been a lot of too-ing and throwing.

Between me, and another neighbour, and Clarion, our landlords.

The communal aerial’s gone: for the second time this year.

And we’d initially been told that the repair could take until 29th May, this year, to be fixed.

After much towing, throwing, and video posting?

The repairmen are due here, today.

Hopefully, it’ll be a long time before we need them, again.

But, given the last time we needed this fix done?

Was only in February?

I’m wondering how long the fix will last …

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on three.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

“I think magic is very related to happiness.   So it is not there all the time, but there are beautiful moments of magic in everyone’s life.”
Penélope Cruz, born 28th April, 1974.
And an Victoria de Angelis song …

The next ten question set will be on 17th May: it’s about Dennis Potter.

Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.

AI is avoided when writing these questions.

Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!   (Q2 was Africa, rather than West Africa, Mum: Q3 was Belgium, not the Netherlands.)

†        I’ll keep my fingers crossed, Debbi.   Although I’m less worried about The King being shot … than the President talking to him … !
It’s not that technical, Debbi.   More a case of:
  • Put this, there.
  • Open this.
  • Close that.
  • Press that.
  • Do this.
  • Yurt.
  • Make the potato explode …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
