Well, yes, people are always suspicious of too easy questions. And sometimes, people don't pay attention to questions. We watch many quizzes on TV, and people sometimes answer things completely unrelated to the question, even when it is easy (the name of a country when they are asking a city, or a person when they ask for a title). I always told students that the most important thing was to read the questions carefully (or listen to them if it was an oral exam).
It reminds me of a typical question here that goes like that: "What colour was the white horse of Santiago?" And believe me, people have to think sometimes...
You might want to use sunscreen instead, and avoid the hottest hours, because it is important to get some sun for the vit D. (I'm not sure if they test you for it, but it is very important to keep the bones in good health). It is not only about Calcium... Oh, and wear a hat.
Hi Paul,
ReplyDeleteApologies for not being able to give, well deserved, full attention to your quiz. As you know I particularly like your music choices. Jim and I are off for a short break next week. I will have my phone so can receive your quiz but we are with friends so I might not have the opportunity to compete. I do hope to get back to give my full attention. So here goes for today:
1. Serbia
2. France
3. Poland
4. 1881
5. Seoul.
I'm willing to wait. Just don't tell me his name is the Doctor! Please! :)
