The Daily Teaser …

Oh, bless!

I’ve just had @starlingpoet, over at Twitter, how distracted she got by “A Little Less Conversion”.

JK, what can I tell, that one is rather distracting …

Almost as distracting as last night episode of “Just a Minute”. And didn’t Shappi Khorsandi play a blinder?

At any rate, here’s today’s questions …

Q3) Today in 1634, saw Father Urbain Grandier burnt alive, in the French town of Loudun, after being accused of witchcraft; which 1971 Ken Russell film was this made into?

Q4) Today is also Long Tan Day, in Australia; this commemorates the Australian veterans of which war?

Q5) Jimi Hendrix played the ‘unofficial’ last day, at Woodstock Festival, today in 1969; what was Jimi Hendrix’s middle name?

Q6) And finally, today in 1877, saw Asaph Hall discover which of the moons of Mars?

And here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q3) One year later, “Fantasmagorie”, the world’s first cartoon, was first shown; in which European city?

A3) Paris.

A4) NA. (Or Narcotics Anonymous, to give it its full name.)

Q5) And finally, today in 1998, President Clinton admitted to a Grand Jury, that he’d had an inappropriate relationship … with who?

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
