The Daily Teaser …

Well, today’s going to be … worrying …

You remember I wrote, a few weeks ago, that the branch of the national chain of off-licenses that I worked at was closing?

Well, it’s finally closing this coming Thursday.

So far, I know that two different local shops have expressed an interest in hiring, but not actually heard anything definite from them.

I’m also very aware that our branch may — may — be getting bought out by an Essex based chain of independent wine merchant’s who asked our manager to put a team of workers together.

We find out for sure, today.

He’s hopeful about it.

I’m keeping me finger’s crossed. But I’m not counting my chickens, not yet.
