A Failure …

Hmmmm …

Well …

I’ve got to confess, it’s been a while since I’ve written about the events on our street, but I’ve just had this letter …

Along with these two bits … !

But the letter …

Oh, dear, the letter!

The letter we seemingly all got happily informed us that there’d be a meeting about forming a Resident’s Association would be held on the 2nd of February of this year.

But was dated the 10th of February.

Hmmm …

No wonder it’s not getting much attention on the Rollason Way forum …

And — on top of that — Southern Anglia, our landlords, have decided to review the Pets and Animals policy for the area.

Frankly, that seems a touch pointless.

From where I’m sitting, there’s at least five of the neighbours* with a dog, cat, or both.

Which makes me wonder if the gossip I’m hearing’s, correct.

And what’s needed isn’t a review of policy, but an arbitration service of some sort, for when various neighbour’s dogs get into dog fights.

And then, there’s the rubbish …

Hmmmm …

Now, I know I usually managed to put everything in the bag’s it’s supposed to be.

And those bag’s into the bins they’re supposed to go in.

It’s not THAT hard, after all.

But I know that the recycling bins next to our block have a little combination lock, to stop non-tenants using them.

But that the main bins don’t.

Now do the bins — recycling or otherwise — in Watson Court, the block opposite mine.

Now, I’ve got to ask, why on Earth put locks on ours, but not theirs?

Seems like asking for trouble!

* In various different blocks. Which CAN be alarming, if the dogs concerned don’t know a visitor to the area, and do what dogs do: jump up suddenly, and bark!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
