The Daily Teaser …

You know, I’ve got to confess, I’m writing with Yesterday playing gently in the background. They’ve a fascinating programme on about the WW2 Battle of the Pacific.

Or fascinatingly gruesome, I should maybe say.

Turns out a few of the various islands that were fought over looked very familiar to one of the war reporters there.

Who swore blind it reminded him of the trenches of WW1.

There’s probably a lot I could say, there.

But it is early, isn’t it?

Let’s move on to what we’re here for, shall we?

Yes. lets!

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Simon, Andrea and Trevor all bagging 7 out of 7, with Simon getting the Official First-In-Clap. But slacking a bit, quotewise, as Andrea and Trevor both managed to put in some good ones! Including one each from the late Douglas Adams.

Where can you go wrong?

Anyway, here’s today’s questions, along with the ‘How To’ and License

A6) Compact Discs.

Q7) And finally … 8th March, 1978, saw the original UK broadcast of the first episode of which science-fiction series?
A7) The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Oh, and if you’re reading this, @MamaAlfy, trust me, they’re not THAT hard!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
