(Non) Movie Tuesday

You know, I think — just think, mind — that the semi-regular movie night that is Tuesday at my place went a touch …

Hmmm …

Well …

Peculiar seems to be the only real word to use.

Yes …

Definitely … !

Especially as I’m now up to 15 followers and 31, 643 hits.

I think I should say “Thank You” to everybody, shouldn’t I … ?

Thank you, everyone!

Realising one has an audience, however small or big, makes me feel I’m appreciated.

At any rate, let me move on, quickly.

Movie Night Adrian, Kevin D and me were going to try and catch a film, tonight.

But I actually think the three of us got side-tracked.

Talking about films, funnily.

Kevin, bless, quite happily admitted to the idea that he always fancied the idea of making — or directing, at least — his own film.

Which is where the nattering got really started: and the chance to watch Aliens Vs Predator 2 or The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo sort of fell by the wayside, incidentally.

Because, obviously, both myself and Adrian definitely have opinions, there.

Partly to do with what sort of computing kit someone should use.

Major discussions, there, I think: but one’s for another time.

Or possibly not: my regular reader’s will by now have realised that I’m something of a screaming Mac head, and Movie Night Adrian’s a serious open-source purist.

Who thinks Ubuntu’s getting a bit too bloated.

(I think the pair of us are going to happily agree to disagree: Arch Linux is nice, but a bit too command line for me, sometimes!)

At any rate, I do know we’ve all happily aired thoughts and opinions and agreed that making a short film at some point, and distributing via the ’net, might be an interesting project.

Just don’t mention Professor Stephen Hawking and the word ‘spasm’ around Kevin.

He’s got this bad habit of collapsing in laughter …

Post a Comment

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
