The Daily Teaser …

You know, you’ve probably guessed by now that, this time of the morning, I’ll usually have either the BBC News Channel or Yesterday playing in the background.

“Drinking beer doesn't make you fat, It makes you lean....Against bars, tables, chairs, and poles.”

“Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”

“A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.”

“Do not cease to drink beer, to eat, to intoxicate thyself, to make love, and to celebrate the good days.”

“I fear the man who drinks water and so remembers this morning what the rest of us said last night.”

“Pretty women make us BUY beer. Ugly women make us DRINK beer.”

“The mouth of a perfectly happy man is filled with beer.”

“Filled with mingled cream and amber I will drain that glass again. Such hilarious visions clamber Through the chambers of my brain -- Quaintest thoughts -- queerest fancies Come to life and fade away; Who cares how time advances? I am drinking ale today.”

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
