The Daily Teaser …

You know, I’ve got Yesterday on in the background: they’re still showing a recent series series Who Do You Think You Are, and today’s one is all about actor, John Hurt.

And it sounds like he has something of a seriously messy ancestry.

You have to love the 18th century, haven’t you … ?

Workhouses, mollyhouses and illegitimate children all over the place … !

‹‹‹•›››

At any rate, let’s get moving on, shall we?

Yes, lets!

And I have to admit, I’m blessed, I really am!

Or possibly blesséd, which is the same thing, only with extra ‘ed’.

Because the Dream Team goes into action, again: oh, yes!

Because yesterday’s Teaser saw both Trevor and Kaiju putting in their answers: both of them managed to score 6 out of 6, and both of them managed a few extras. Bless him, Trevor managed to spot the mistake I’d (inadvertently) made in dating the Sun’s original publication. And Kaiju, blessing him as well, manage to dig up the exact battle that — with-in the Battle of The Somme — that the tank was first used.

I love finding this stuff out!

Lets move on, shall we … ?

Lets see how everyone does with todays questions, shall we? Here they are, along with the ‘How To’ and License

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
