The Saint James Road Planning Application … AGAIN!!!!

This is literally going to be a quick post.

And I know I’ve said that before … !

One thing I do know is that, when I headed to Brentwood High Street, this morning, I happened to notice another planning application notice, pinned to a convenient lamp-post.

From the brief read I had of the form, it looks like Brentwood and Essex council are trying to tighten up the on-street parking in the area of Saint James Road.

Hoo-rah!

Not that I think it’ll help.

Because, as you can tell from the bottom two photos — the uppermost taken today at 11:51, the lower, taken yesterday at 16:55 — the current restrictions don’t work.

Or, at least, get ignored.

Personally … ?

I can’t help but wonder what the heck Brentwood Council’s planning division is up to …

Especially considering that the Planning application is due up for review — and hopefully, refusal — on Tuesday

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
