The Daily Teaser …

You know, I think you can tell it’s getting towards winter, can’t you … ?

Putting my front-room lights to deal with the fact it’s a touch darker, this morning, than it was yesterday morning.

What’s strange is that I can remember last night’s weather report: yesterday was 7° warmer than it should’ve been.

Look’s like those of us who take an interest in these things are going to get long odds on a white Christmas.

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

Before I turn into a weather pundit …

“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.”
“All we are saying is give peace a chance.”
    “All you need is love.”
“I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?”
“If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry'.”
“Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.”
“The thing the sixties did was to show us the possibilities and the responsibility that we all had. It wasn't the answer. It just gave us a glimpse of the possibility.”

“We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first, rock 'n' roll or Christianity.”

“Will the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands? And the rest of you, if you'll just rattle your jewelry.”
“You don't need anybody to tell you who you are or what you are. You are what you are!”

Quotes by John Winston Ono Lennon born 9th October 1940.

Guilt for being rich, and guilt thinking that perhaps love and peace isn't enough and you have to go and get shot or something.

If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.

Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.

  3. You know, guys, I wish I’d realised it was John Lennon’s birthday, today: that could well have given me one heck of a theme.

At any rate, I can but suggest we all watch this

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
