I think I can safely say that I’m now officially an uncle.

My sister, Ruth gave birth to her son, Jude Paul, at 1•11 am this morning, weighing 7lbs 9oz.

I don’t know how Ruth feels, but I know I’m relieved!

I know this much: I think it means the much delayed family christmas dinner can now go ahead: complete with it’s newest member …

    Uncle
    An eldery man; -- used chiefly as a kindly or familiar appellation.
    The brother of one's father or mother; also applied to an aunt's husband; -- the correlative of aunt in sex, and of nephew and niece in relationship.
    A pawnbroker.


    Well I am indeed old but I am a Great Uncle not just an ordinary Uncle and many of me great Nieces and Nephews are teenagers so I may become a Great Great Uncle in the not too distant Future.
