Chemical Wedding: Sex, Drugs and Hmmm …

You know, it’s not often I use some of the features to add extra … umm … features to Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar.

But tonight, I have …

I’ve added a quickie page about the occasional Movie nights I host.

It’s at the top of the page, along with the other pages.

Let me know what you think …

But at any rate, I think I should mention the film that the complete Movie Night Gang* saw last night.

The 2008, Julian Doyle directed film, Chemical Wedding.

Which is definitely a bit …

Strange …

The film sees noted — or possibly notorious — occultist, Aleister Crowley revived after a virtual reality computer is reprogrammed by one of his followers.

Hmm …

Now, I’ve got to confess, I don’t think Chemical Wedding really grabbed us.

Kevin D was distinctly unimpressed, Adrian was impressed by the historical accuracy — although I’m not sure by the film, per sé — Squeaky was definitely ticked off …

And Tootles was bored enough to clean my oven, for which I owe her a BIG vote of thanks!

So you can probably tell what I’m going to tell you, can’t you … ?

Chemical Wedding … ?

ForGET it … !

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
