Hmmm …
Well …
I’ve got to admit, I’m somehow not surprised.
I’m unsurprised for two reasons.
Firstly … ?
He happily admits, during the interview, that he’s not a science fiction fan.
I think it showed.
From where I’m sitting, the holes in the background weren’t necessarily ones someone a touch more familiar with the genre would have made*.
OK, granted I’m no expert.
Or writer.
But I am a fan.
And expect a few nits to be picked.
Of course the other non-surprise … ?
Is that the series is not getting picked up for a second series.
I’m still having mixed feelings, still, about that.
I felt that Outcasts had potential, and that the last two episodes a hell of an improvement on the first.
But I also feel that Britain deserves more quality science fiction.
But Outcasts … ?
Outcasts having been badly executed … ?
Outcasts, unfortunately, wasn’t it.
* The transport was the big one. I’d also noticed something else, too: seemingly, Forthaven — a heavily fortified town on a planet that’s supposedly uninhabited — had no solar generators. On a desert planet where sunlight seems to be all over, and the offices and hospital have electrical needs and air-conditioning.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
