OK, now I grant …
This isn’t going to be the most exciting post I’m going to write.
Very pointedly so, in fact.
On the other hand … ?
I’ve got to admit, I’m feeling rather pleased with myself.
Seriously … !
Now, I’ve probably mentioned, once or twice, I’m out of a job at the moment.
And been waiting to here about some back benefit I’ve been due.
That, thankfully, got to my bank on Thursday.
One thing I do know that let me do: along with pay some outstanding bills, I should add.
Was remedy something.
Not MUCH of a something, granted.
But it DID give me enough cash to buy some new cheap and cheerful Venetian blinds — courtesy of the local branch of Wilkinson’s — for my kitchen window.
Not much, I grant.
But what DID please me … ?
Was how amazingly simple those new blinds were, to put up.
They even fitted in — not perfectly, but well enough — into the bracket I’d had the original blinds in, on the wall.

OK, granted, in the whole wide world, that’s NOT a big thing.
One guy putting his new blinds up.
Possibly NOT the most Earth shattering thing, I know.
But, from where I’m sitting … ?
It’s nice to be able to say I’ve some much valued privacy, it really is … !
