The Daily Teaser - 01-2-2012

Bleaugh …

I’ve got to admit, I think I’m developing something of a tea obsession.

Which, I’ll admit, is a bit better than one or two of the things I’ve ingested over the years.

Still, if nothing else … ?

It means I’m up, about …

And ready for whatever the day throws at me.

Well …

That’s the theory, at any rate.

Let’s move on, shall we … ?

Before I turn into a whinging pom*.

* There’s an old old Australian joke, I first heard many years ago: “How can you tell a plane-load of poms has just landed? The engines will stop, but the whining won’t.” I’m in that kind of mood, today …

º Hopefully, by then I’ll have a job, and be able to buy you that expresso, Debbi.

ª Someone I worked with, many years ago, visited Moscow as part of a Russian language course: he said you could tell that Russians who were visiting it for the 2nd time … they brought cutlery …

  1. Here's wishing you well in your job search, Paul. I know what it's like to be without a job and scraping by. Not fun.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
