Now, I’ve GOT to admit, that was a bit of an adventure, yesterday.
One that also basically means I’ve had to borrow a few quid from my mother.
Which she got a big ‘Thank you’ for, so you know.
But basically … ?
I had to do that, after I ran out of gas!
I’m on a pay as you go
gas meter, and of course, it’s in the carpark at the back of my flat.
And not an easy thing to check, so you know: that carpark is a gated one, for the private owners and tenants in the next road. When I do top up my gas meter, I have to either climb out of my back window.
Or walk around the corner, go through a block of flats called Helen House before 12·30 — so I can get through via the tradesman entrance — and across the carpark.
Oh, well …
At least it means I got some exercise, yesterday, along with a text from Kevin D*.
Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?
