The Daily Teaser — 3-12-2014

Did I tell you about Lighting Up Brentwood … ?

Lighting Up Brentwood is my home town’s annual Lighting Up ceremony/day.   Basically, it’s the day when Brentwood High Street’s Christmas lights get switched on.

It was Saturday, just gone: the 29th of November, in other words.

And absolutely bonkers, I should add: at least, at work.   We were, not putting too fine a point on it, hammered!

One upshot of being that busy — and knackered, frankly — is I’ve only just noticed this year’s Christmas tree.

Yeah, THAT one … the one in the photo … ?

Is it just me, or does that look some form of butt plug?

Hmmm …

Possibly just me, then …

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) 3rd December, 1904, saw the discovery of the moon, Himalia.   Himalia is a moon of which planet: Jupiter, Saturn or Uranus?
Q2) 3rd December, 1992, saw two bombs go off in Manchester.   Which group set the bombs off?

Q5) Finally … 3rd December, 1948, saw the birth of John Michael ‘Ozzy’ Osbourne: former — and still occasional — lead singer of which heavy metal band?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

I’ll leave you with this song …

And this assertion …
“I’m not picking up dog shit. I’m a rock star.”

Have a good day … !

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
