Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 20-11-2016

Right …

I’m at work again, today.

Something I can’t complain about: although I’ll have to make sure I put some leave forms in.

There’s no trains service on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.   So if I want to salvage some sort of pay out of the day, I need to try and get those forms in.

That’s not what’s worrying me.

What’s worrying me is Storm Angus: the first named storm of the winter.

Frankly?

I don’t think this part of Essex is suffering too badly …

But I have just looked out of my window, quickly.

I’m going to get wet, walking to Brentwood Station …

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: scoring six out of six in the process.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

I’ll leave you with this thought …
“Rattlesnake is, in fact, just like chicken, only tougher.”
Alistair Cooke, 20 November 1908 – 30 March 2004.
And this song …

Enjoy your day.

*        It gets complicated, Debbi: there’s a queue, a line in US English.   There’s a cue: a long stick used for playing table games like Pool and Snooker.   THEN there’s Q†, the James Bond character, and Qu, the Terry Pratchett character named after him.   There’s possibly a few more … !

†        Q wouldn’t be Q, if he didn’t tell 007 to bring things back in one piece …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.

*   I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
