I’ll leave you with a song: co-written by birthday boy, Sammy Fain …
And a thought …
“The result of the struggle between the thought and the ability to express it, between dream and reality, is seldom more than a compromise or an approximation.”
M. C. Escher, 17 June 1898 – 27 March 1972.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a good day.
* Well … I’ll be honest, Olga, I think the Fire Brigade did do assessments: as the buildings were built. At least, on some of the estate: the regulations have changed over the years have changed over the years. As have the regulatory bodies. The impression I’ve picked up over the the years is the bodies responsible for fire safety have changed over the years. When one end of our street was built, I believe Brentwood Council did the checks. By the time the other end was done, the local Fire Brigade was! What CAN I tell you? Apart from pointing you at this piece I wrote, nearly seven years ago … (We have no sprinklers. Not that I’m convinced they’d help … but … )
† Wasn’t it just, Debbi? Actually, we had a stall out, yesterday, in Brentwood High Street: they always have assorted animal sculptures, made from recycled electronic parts.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

Just finished Olga's YA book with the character Pink. I loved it! Will be sure to review it in writing or video. :)
