Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 1-8-2017

ARRRRGHGHGHGHGHG!

I’ve broken my glasses!

Well …

The right arm’s come off!

Which is awkward: considering it happened at work!

It’s — sort of — OK: the blessed things actually balance quite well on my nose, and on the remaining arm.

But, as you can imagine?

I’m going to the optician’s …

~≈Â≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mr Strict*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with all three scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And a thought …
“Giving up is something a Lauda doesn’t do.”
Niki Lauda, born 1st August. 1949.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s teaser.

Have a good day!

*        Morning, Mr S: good to have you on board …

†        The “Who Killed Laura Palmer” question was hitting the UK, too, Olga.   I think we got less sense than the Llama in THAT scene!   As for Jennifer?   I’ve not seen Boxing Helena: but have seen Chained.   And it struck me Jennifer’s got her taste for the offbeat from her dad!   Calling it grand guignol, with a twist would be … an understatement …

‡        That’s near enough what Faye was saying, Debbi.   I’m going To have to sit down with it, I know that much … once I’ve got through The Man In The High Castle, and Game of Thrones^!

^        Looks like HBO’s been hacked: and had the script for next week’s episode filched.   The group that did it said it’s “… the greatest leak of the cyber space era, ever.”   Can someone tell them it’s only a TV show!?   (One and a half terabytes?   I’ve more than that, in me movie collection!)

Intriguing... I hope you sort your glasses. I have new ones and it's taking me longer than expected to get used to them. (First, they were trying to squeeze my head. Now at least that's not a problem...)

  2. You should see Twin Peaks, but be warned. There's one episode in particular you might want to fast forward through. Liberally! :)

    But I'm still hooked!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
