“At the Summer Solstice, all is green and growing, potential coming into being, the miracle of manifestation painted large on the canvas of awareness. At the Winter Solstice, the wind is cold, trees are bare and all lies in stillness beneath blankets of snow.”
Have a good Solstice: and don’t fall over in the dark.
* I have to admit, I feel rather good about that post, Debbi: it took me all evening! (Moorcock’s definitely worth checking out, I think. Although I should warn you, he’s even more prolific than Terry Pratchett … )
† I know what you mean, Olga. I think I already turned Debbi down, once, many moons ago: due to a lack of time! And I know what you mean about hanging around for stuff: bloody Amazon! At ANY rate … ? I hope the elections go well: and give Catalonia the government it needs. (I’ve actually just finished the review of the year Teaser: and managed to avoid mentioning Megan Markle. I might just give an answer away, but … !)
Q1) Northern Q2) Winter solstice Q3) Blue Q4) The clocks Q5) Iran Yes. In my case, I was at the post-office. Not the best place to go this time of the year. It seems that the postman had dropped the care to go and pick up an item, without ever ringing the bell (I was at home) and then had held onto the parcel. They've just phoned me to let me know that it has turned up and I won't have to queue. Fingers crossed! (I'll keep you posted. So far, we won't know much until tonight, although it seems people are voting en masse, so at least they are no longer indifferent.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

Oh, my gosh! And I have yet to finish Terry Pratchett's work! Not to mention all those crime fiction books authors keep writing and writing! :)
