Was my supervisor phoning in to where on Earth I was.
The rota had been changed.
Without me thinking to check — it’d written the diary entries, after all! — nor anyone mentioning the changes to me.
I think I’m ok.
While I don’t have the photo I took of the rota, I do have the emails that show I asked my co-workers if any of them needed me to work, last night: and none asked.
And I’ve the email I sent to the supervisor, showing that the only day I’d been asked to do, was this coming Sunday.
Hopefully?
I’m not in trouble.
But you can never tell.

In amongst all that … ?
The fact I watched more episodes of Westworld, last night, is — possibly — incidental.
But, given I’ve — in my past — used the services of illegal sites like Demonoid or Pirate Bay, I tend to follow news about entertainment technology, for some time.
Q3)The company released a video cassette format in 1975. What was that format?
A3)Betamax. (Unfortunately? Sony, and Betamax — arguably the better quality cassettes — lost the Format Wars to VHS. JVC, the developers of VHS, made it cheaper for other manufacturers to license the technology.)
Q4)Sony make a range of games consoles: which games consoles: the Wii, Xbox or Playstation?
* It’s always an odd thought, though, Olga, isn’t it? James Bond, 007 … getting mugged by twitted off Rasta men. At ANY rate? Keeping an eye on my health is one thing. The rota, on the other hand …
† Oooh … ! Might just have to keep an eye open for that one, Debbi! I’ve still got to try and catch the podcast. It’s a good, fun, little movie. (I’ve also watched iBoy and Outcast, a while back. That whole gangster horror/sci-fi thing seems to be noticeable.)
Q1) Graf Zeppelin Q2) Beirut Q3) Turkmenistan Q4) Ottoman Sultan (Emperor) Q5) 7th June I hope you're OK about the rota thing. Having worked with rotas myself and having a friend who works as a nurse, I know it's very common for things like this to happen, although they should keep track of each different version of the rota and send notices to people when they change it, methinks... (There are lessons to be learned from this, but by them, I'd say). Love that song although I hadn't heard that version (I have a copy sang by Billie Holliday, I'm sure, but great music and voice).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
