Is to talk to their parents, Sarek (James Frane) and Amanda (Mia Kirshner).
It seems Amanda has something she’s telling to neither Michael or Sarek.
Something that leaves Sarek as angry as only a Vulcan could get …
And Michael … ? Talking a semi-conscious Spock (Ethan Peck*) away seems like a sensible idea.

Back on Discovery?
Back on Discovery, Captain Pike (Anson Mount) and Ash Tyler (Shazad Latif) has issues …
On a personal front, Tyler would rather be on QonoS† … and Captain Pike would rather not have a member of Section 31 on his ship.
Unfortunately, when an ace pilot is needed, to find out more about the time rift opening about Kaminar?
The only competent person is the former Starfleet test pilot that is Captain Christopher Pike …

Now … is this second series of Star Trek: Discovery looking good.
Yes, it is, actually!
Granted, and right now? I’m watching it along side El Ministerio del Tiempo: which I believe to be the better series.
That said … ?
That does not mean Discovery’s a bad series: it’s just as watchable, at it’s best, as any.
Tonight’s episode? As short as it was, is another great example of what the franchise can when on form.
Action, emotion … a great big crash …
And a hell of an announcement about where Michael and Spock are off too next …
