Q4)Former Liberian president, Charles Taylor, was given a fifty year prison sentence: on 30th May, 2012. The sentenced punished his actions in which country’s civil war?
* It … yeah, it went well enough, I think, Olga: and yes, that’s a very good point. Actually … ? The upside, as I’ve mentioned already, is that I got to see that side of the family agin … after about 30 years, in some cases … Oh, Anne’s been in touch: hopefully, we’ll be seeing her look in on Monday. (She left some messages on yesterday’s Teaser video.)
† You’re right there, Debbi! I’m still trying to work out how to watch Good Omens!
Q1) Kiss the Boys Goodbye Q2) crude oil Q3) A high-school dance (a prom!) (Sorry. I’ve written a book about proms that I’m translating at the moment, so it’s something I’m thinking a fair bit about). Q4) The Battle of Jutland Q5) An asteroid Good news about Anna. Yes, I also saw relatives I hadn't seen in a very long time when my Dad died... Here, after the local elections, things are quite complicated, as nobody has enough votes to be the mayor... Oh, the games people play...
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
