Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 1-8-2019:Yorkshire Day

1st August, 2019.

Yes: it’s officially official.

I now have a job.

Granted, it’s nothing fancy?

And granted, it’s going to involve walking up Warley Hill, to get to work.

And, yes, I’ll possibly be sick of it after six months.

But, still … ?

It’s better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick*.

~≈§≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Badwolf†,  and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q3) True or False: Fatboy is in the Guinness Book of Records.
A3) True: most top forty hits under different names.   (Although, I have to add, I haven’t found this on the Guinness site.)
Q4) What was the name of the first album Fatboy released: as Fatboy Slim?
Q5) Finally?   Mama Do The Hump was produced by Fatboy Slim.   Which band sang it?
A5) Rizzle Kick.   (Here … )
Here’s a thought …
“Being from Yorkshire is as much a state of mind as a geographical fact.”
Liam Allen.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Why is that a phrase?   No, really?   Many things are better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick … including a poke in the eye with a pointy stick …

†        Yeah, sorry about that, Anne!   You’ve been hit by the Google Gobbler.   Google’s got this bad habit, occasionally, of eating people’s answers: it’s bloody annoying.   As soon as I work out what’s happening, I’ll let you know!

‡        That it did, Debbi.   It’s only a few hours a week, but …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
