“When I’m creating at the piano, I tend to feel happy; but — the eternal dilemma — how can we be happy amid the unhappiness, of other? I’d do everything I could to give everyone a moment of happiness. That’s what’s at the heart of my music.”
* The course is being run by a college in Berkshire. (The machines are using a version of Windows that’s due to be replaced in 2020. I’m assuming the college hasn’t updated, yet, on cost grounds. That’s … well … )
† Hang on, Pete? Who’s Pete? Olga, you’re leaving me for Pete!!!!!!!!! I’m joking, I’m joking! At any rate, cheers for that: I’m going to need it, I think. And, yes: that’s a genuine quote from Ms Spears. She doesn’t help herself, sometimes. Did you ever hear her quote about foreign travel?

Q1) The Godfather Q2) Illinois Q3) Jupiter Q4) Five Q5) Edwina Currie Sorry, Paul! There's another blogger I talk (write) often to, called Pete, and I guess I got my Ps confused! (I wonder if I've called him Paul as well). The issue of the computers is worrying indeed, not so much the old Windows (we were well behind on software at the NHS when I was working there), but perhaps they need a course on privacy and data protection themselves!
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
† Your Facebook, X/Twitter, Blogger, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn profile are acceptable. I also like seeing folks webpages.
