* Oh, yes! Olga, I have a rather toastie flat … and hot water for shower! Which is lovely. Oh … According to the BBC, Gloria’s death toll is now up to thirteen. And yes, Terry Jones death is sad … especially if you’ve seen his Medieval Lives, and Barbarians series: and absolutely fascinating!
† Isn’t it just, Debbi? Like I said to Olga, his history series were amazing. Michael Palin did travel, Jones did history!
Q1) Madrid Q2) Italy Q3) elected federal office Q4) Antoninus Pius Q5) Twin Peaks (I loved the original series and the music. I still have the CDs, I think...) Yes. The weather has improved but they were still worried yesterday because some of the rivers kept going up and up and the reservoirs were above full capacity. Fingers crossed it settles now. It's sunny, so far today. Excellent news about the heating! And I don't think I ever watched Jones's historical series. I'll keep my eyes open for them.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
