Diabetes: Day 5

17th March, 2020.

Right ... no introductory video ... again.

Which is possible something you're grateful for.

But has at least made this post quicker to start.

And quieter.

I'm writing this in Brentwood Library, after all.

Which you may have noticed from my new Instagram account.

At any rate ... ?

I'm at a loose end.

At least possibly at a loose end.

I've recently been diagnosed with diabetes: and, right now?

Right now, I have an appointment with my surgery's practice nurse, next week.

I'll have to contact them, though: given the current lock down, I'm not sure.

But, of course, I will need still need advise from a qualified medical practitioner.

If for not other reason than to see what sort of life style and dietary changes I need to make.

Having a leaflet about it is one thing.

Having friends and family recommend sweet-potatoes and various sugar substitutes is one thing.

But a natter with a medically qualifyed person is far more reassuring!

Post a Comment

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.

*   I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
