“… being 28 is like being a brand new, beginner’s level gymnast, perilously seesawing between “real” adulthood and (what feel like) the last crumbs of your true youth.”

We've been stuck indoors here for a while, as you know, although the course has kept me busy). Remember the bin bags. I think once we get going next week I'll have a better idea of how things go. I hope the online setting might make them more forgiving with mistakes, etc. (after all, even tutors are not very used to it, so it's all fairly new). The teaching sessions are in the morning and we've been advised to do trial sessions with the other trainees in the afternoon. I've been checking to see if I could find a set of headphones with a microphone to improve the quality of the sound (I thought I had one but it seems I must have given it away), but at this point there's no guarantee of delivery times when buying online, and only food shops are open, so they are unlikely to get here before I need to use them. I know they will be handy in the future, but in that case, I'd much rather wait (fingers crossed) and check in person. My experience with headphones is that many of them feel uncomfortable after a while, although I haven't used them with microphones (only a pair I had that I wasn't impressed with)... Oh, we'll see. Take lots of care.
My cellphone is a good old Nokia 108 on a pay as you go plan. Voice text and pictures , when i buy a memory card. I have never been one to get the very latest of any thing.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
