* I like the sound of that chair, Olga! Did you ever see The Prisoner? It sounds a lot like a swish version of Number Two’s chair! Either way, it sounds cheaper than plane parts!
Well … I find out today if this program can do me any good. If I can get onto the ECDL course? I’ll be thankful — I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
It’s a shame the real world version of the Festival is happening. Was it the one with the Human Castles? Those always look spectacular! 2020 has been one of those years …
† It’s never a late night with Ronnie involved, Trevor! And the sixth title puts him on a par with Reardon and Davies: and one behind Hendry. What’s the betting he’ll hit eight of them … ?
‡ Connected, Debbi? Did I mention a TV show called Connections? The one with the New York power cut? It’s a fascinating show: and still looks relatively fresh, and relevant!
Q1) Ken Russell (of course!) Q2) Tokyo Q3) Women Q4) Indonesia Q5) Indonesia Good luck! Well, the human castles (castellers) indeed perform at festivals, and they also have specific events during the year (mostly in the summer), where they travel all around Catalonia, to different cities and towns that host "meetings" (they are not officially competitions, but they all try to upstage each other, by making every more difficult and higher castells, but they will sometimes also join together if there aren't enough people. They are an interesting bunch), and in many big celebrations they also join in. They still wanted to do something this year, but no castells, of course. I heard from the head of the radio station yesterday, and yes, it's mostly been cancelled, apart from a few official and limited access events (the blessing, the mass...), so they'll run a few programmes, on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and Monday and Tuesday morning. Because there were many people who had volunteered and not that many spots now, he was working through what each person would do, although he told me I'd likely be going out with the mobile unit and connecting live, but we'll see. So, I might be busier on the weekend, but I'll try and join the teaser nonetheless. Take care.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

Certainly been an amount of H2O falling from the sky. The other day things got so bad in Chelmsford that these two guys took a ride in their Kayak.
