* It’s not looking too shiny, today, Trevor, I know that! (Cheers for the celery … !)
† I think a lot of actors do, Edith: I think Russell Crowe’s in a band. And Hugh Laurie, from House? Has recorded a well-spoken-of blues album. And Sting taught Patrick Stewart a few basic chords: so he could play a (fictional) instrument called a baliset, in Dune. They used a thing called a Chapman stick, as the baliset: it’s sort of a guitar, minus the body.
‡ I don’t think so, Debbi: Mum, Anna, Ruth and Jude aren't suntanning people. Or postcard people, now I think of it! Oh … you’ve got a package. It’s amazing where John Drake turns up …
(Oh, Radio 4’s airing a show called Soul Music: about famous songs. Today’s episode’s about Bronski Beat’s Small Town Boy. Jimmy Somerville’s voice is unnerving!)

Weather not to bad. Not raining. I shared a Celery recipe a day ago. Toasted French bread covered with crushed Avocado and chopped up Celery. No good for me as I cannot stand Avocado.
Yes, actually, I can relate with that. My Irish-British ancestry makes it impossible for me to get a tan. It's not worth the cancer risk or the wrinkles. :)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
