†        It. is that, Debbi!   (If I recall, back in the 1960s, Sutch campaigned to get the voting af lowered from 21 to 18.   At the time?   You couldn’t vote until you were 21: but could join the Army — and get killed — at 16.   It’s still 16 …)

‡        I can vaguely remember Bell standing, Trevor.   And VAGUELY remember the Church of the Militant Elvis.   I remember Pickles, as well: and reading about the seven thousand pounds worth of computer he bought … and claimed expenses for.   I thought he must've got a maxed out Mac Pro but it  turned out he spent some £900 on a laptop, about a grand and a half on a scanner, and the rest on software.   If I recall?   The local Tory party chairman ran an IT consultancy … so I’m looking back and wondering if any of that money ended up going his way …
