* Hello, Mum!
† Yeah: I can imagine, Olga. Too much hot food in those conditions, does sound off-putting. Saying that? Mind you, I tend to eat later, if it’s hot: I can’t imagine that’s good, either!
I HAVE to admit, I’ve never eaten rabbit. The fact my family’s had pet rabbits over the years has always put me off. It’s hard to see them as dinner, when they’re in the garden!
I’m just thankful we’ve not had a papal visit in Brentwood: the 2012 torch going through town was bonkers enough!
‡ Lobstertail? Lobstertail, Debbi? That’s that interesting rock formation in Cornwall, isn’t it? :D At any rate, I’m glad to hear those ten question sets paid off! Oh, Devonshire’s the older version of the county’s name: it’s usually just called Devon, these days. There’s still a Duke of Devonshire: although their ancestral seat, Chatsworth House, in in Derbyshire. (Despite sharing its name with a city in West Yorkshire, Leeds Castle’s in Kent.)
^ OK … how do Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Lancashire, Cornwall and Devon sound, Trevor? That’s before I Google for how many Yorkshires there are. Why on EARTH is Essex not called Chelmsfordshire?
Q5) Gold I hope the ultrasound went well. I don't have breakfast, ever, so those kinds of things don't bother me, but with diabetes things get quite tricky as well.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
