* Hello, Mum!
† Oh, dear … the washing machine! What can I tell you, Olga? Except that the repair man’s due back on Tuesday.
I’ll keep my finger crossed for you, as well. But isn’t the play button (▶️) easy to miss?
‡ It’s interesting stuff, Debbi, I know that. It’s also very watchable. (Practically all of the main cast seem to have their hair in waves. Apart from Patrick Stewart!)
Q5) Field Marshal Good luck with the washing machine, but it seems cutting it very fine indeed. One wonders if it shouldn't be covered if the problem started before the guarantee died anyway, but... I'm sure there are rules about that. It was the hold button, which is on the side rather than on top with the rest, that was the problem. In theory, if you toggle that one to one side or the other, the recorder doesn't work unless you keep holding it. I am sure I didn't move it, at least not intentionally, but because I was taking pictures, recording, and taking the equipment in and out of the bag, I guess it might have caught on something. The weird thing is that I thought it might have been that and toggled it to a different position (of course, there is no way to remember how it is supposed to be, as it is not that evident. No on and off position), but it still wouldn't turn. But I sent a message to my boss and the told me he was sure it the phone recording would work, in any case. He was also doing some recordings and met the same guy who helped me with the equipment afterwards, so he was already aware of it by the time he saw my message. We have used the phone before, but mostly to connect live when we cover events at the festa major... (Not long to go now, although COVID numbers are going up again).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

He might have wavy hair. We just don't see it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm speaking of the hair he keeps in his closet, of course. A family hairloom! :)
