I think there’s probably half a ton of James Bond fanfic, Debbi. If it’s like some of the Star Trekstuff, they’ll only pass it on if you’re at least 18! There’s latter day Bond novels, as well: John Gardner’s done some. I’d imagine the movies will carry on. The next one could see the Léa Seydoux character telling her daughter stories. Or? With M meeting the ‘new’ Bond and saying ‘Oh, thank god for that, Bond: the reconstructive surgery worked!’
Either way … ? I think Henry Cavill would be a superb Bond: he’s got the look.
‡ Cheers, Olga. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. I should be able to re-apply, as and when a day time job comes up.
Here’s hoping you get to sit down in the midst of all the fun! It’s a shame you missed yesterday’s though. We’ve had a patron saint of dogs, a patron saint of mad dogs … and yesterday, Saint Guinefort. A saint who IS a dog! You couldn’t make it up, could you … ?
^ I think Ryder had a very good point. Bowie’s one of a handful of artists — The Beatles, Elvis, Madonna, Prince, the Stones, Queen and possibly Michael Jackson — who’ve literally something for everyone. If you don’t like one of their tunes … …
Q4) Tsarevich Alexei (although it seems there were doubts as to which of the women was Maria and which was Anastasia, but...)
Q5) Gloucestershire Sorry about the job, but it sounds hopeful that they told you to keep checking for day jobs. I'm in a rush again today, because I have to do something later this afternoon, but at least it isn't job-related. Have a great day!
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
