Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 24th August, 2022.

24th August, 2022.

It’s definitely a quiet day.

Well …

I say quiet.

I’m expecting my nephew, Jude, over, later.

Quiet possibly won’t be the word.

At ANY rate: you’ll find his latest YouTube short, here.

~≈≈~

Talking of Jude?

You’ll possibly have realised he likes the football game, FIFA 22.

And looking forward to the updated version — FIFA 23 — when it’s released.

He’s pre-ordered it: at some £72.   Or there about.

He’s mildly jealous of people in India, though.

Due to a mistake in the placing a decimal point, the game’s manufacturers, EA Games, made it available for ₹4·8.

About 5p.

Then announced they’d honour that.

Jude wasn’t exactly happy … … … … … …

~≈≈~

Talking of money … ?

I got the £150 energy rebate, a few months ago.

It’s long since been spent, I should add.

But … ?

It seems some people are still waiting for it.

Frankly?

That’s …

Not good.

And a song …

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

†        Yeah: at least I have options, Olga: so that’s something!   And I’d imagine dating bodies that age is going to be tricky …
        Have a VERY good day!

‡        What can I tell you, Debbi?   Sometimes, them’s the breaks!   (Glad you take to point.   I’m still thinking Henry Cavill is an ideal replacement!)

Enjoy this afternoon with your nephew. I have a bit of a break this afternoon, but I think then, after Sunday, it will be quite busy.
It isn't good that they take so long to pay, as it is not as if people who need the aid have a lot of resources to turn to while they wait.
    Give my regards to Jude.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
