† I think there’s more than on patron saint, Olga. But you’re right: I’m also sure I’ve used it as a wrong option. Joseph of Arimathea does make sense as the official saint, though, given the stories.
Time off for painful periods does make sense. But laws can be a good example of unintended consequences. If I’ve understood it, one Texan school has introduced a regulation that means it must remove a given book from school: if at least one person objects to its ‘adult content’. They’ve had to remove the Bible …
Are we talking about the 5G mobile network, Olga, or the router’s 5 GHz band? It’s two different things. You should be able to access your router with your browser: and switch different devices to different bands. That MAY help things.
‡ Hello, Mum!
^ What, about Tom Baker as a vicar? He was in a seminary, Debbi!
But yeah … the Disappeared are … well, what can I tell you?
Yep: the electrician turn up. Although he was more Oliver Reed with a bear, than DeNiro with a back pack!
Q5) Roman You're right, yes. Laws are tricky. The problem was that the router wasn't well configured and there wasn't a 5GHz option, which would give me the speed I had contracted. When I spoke to the technician, he managed to sort it out remotely, so no visit. Good luck with your phone meeting.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
