* It was a poster for his computer science class: about Alan Turing. Well … it could’ve been about any one of a number of famous computer scientists: but Jude chose Alan Turning … because his name was Alan. (I think Jude’s growing an interest in hackers: so told him Turing was the first hacker, because he invented computers. Hopefully, Jude may read more about Turing as a result.)
† Well … I’ve managed to get the bulk of the presents, delivered, Olga. I’m just pleased Jude didn’t notice they got here when he was over! One of them would’ve given him a BIG hint about what Mummy are Grandma are getting him! (Game console prices are ridiculous!)
I hope Sant’s got something good planned: and won’t need you dressing up as a Caganer. That could be awkward!
‡ Hello, Mum!
^ You got them spelt right, Debbi! (I’m going to have have a word with Mum!)
And, yes, things have. I think they’re also trying to develop things: whilst being able to keep things canon. It looks like Spock and T’Pring’s relationship is doing to be a big theme: it looks troubled, so that it ends up in Amok Time.
Q5) 1958 Oh, I see (about presents, I mean). The topic of Jude's homework was interesting, and Alan Turing is well-worth a read, so hopefully he might want to keep reading about him. (I enjoyed the film, but I'm not sure a boy his age would... You would know better). Last year I was a coalminer. It wasn't too bad. I don't think we have a caganer, although that's a thought! (Not because I want to dress up, but having a human size figure of a caganer would bring never ending opportunities for photos, although we shall see what we do this year).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
