Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 28th September 2022

28th September, 2022

Yes: it’s Wednesday.

And I’m up, early!

Why … ?   I hear you say!

I’ve got a podiatrist appointment — the first of two — at nine o’clock, this morning.

In Brentwood Hospital’s Badger ward, so you know.

Quite how it’s going to go, I don’t know.

But … ?

The simple fact it’s in Badger ward, has left me with an ear worm!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on two.

And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        You’re right: I don’t think it would appeal, Olga.   Maybe when he’s a few years older.
I’m glad to know my idea went down well!   I’d imagine there’s a few model makers in the area who’d do one … but quite how much they’d cost … !   (If you can find any left over show-room dummies, that might help …)

        Hello, Mum!

‡        It’s not the first time it’s been called that, Debbi!   (Actually, there’s a Strange New Worlds episode called Spock Amok.   We’ll have to see what THAT’S about!)

I hope the visit to the podiatrist goes well. Your comment about Badgers reminded me that the student magazine of Sussex University was called (at least when I studied there, not sure about now) The Badger. It wasn't half bad, either!
