Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 10 — Day of The Dead — A Review

28th June, 2020.

Not that I’m feeling rushed or anything … but I’m not feeling rushed.

Which is possibly contradictory, I think.

I’m not feeling rushed … but am feeling tired … !

Cie la vie … !

At any rate … ?

I’ve not felt tired enough to not to watch TV.

Frankly?

The last episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Series 1, was calling.

And, my lord, that’s one hell of a finale.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 9 — Sing, Sing, Sing — A Review

21st June, 2020.

*Spoilers*

It’s got to be said: sometimes you need a break.

Sometimes … ?

Even a change of pace, can be good: for even a change of subject.

Or poking your nose in, where it’s not wanted.

Franky, I’ve spent a couple of weeks doing just that: doing a couple of pieces about digital poverty.

I’d don’t know if that would grab you …

But feel free to read Pt 1 and Pt 2, and leave me a comment …

~≈†≈~

At ANY rate … ?

Sunday night’s are getting to be something of a tradition.

I watch TV.

I caught the twelfth series of Doctor Who on a Sunday night.

And, just recently … ?

Episode nine … ?

Has left me panting …

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 8 — Hide and Seek — A Review

14th June, 2020.

Right …

It’s hot, sweaty … and decidedly uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable enough that you don’t want to know what I’m wearing.

Really!

Either way, it made me bad tempered enough that, whilst writing this morning’s Daily Teaser?

I managed to not be able to upload a video intro straight into the post … and had to upload it to YouTube, and embed it from there.

It turns out I just needed to clear my caches

I could kick myself …

Except I’d possibly miss …

At ANY rate … ?

I’ve seen episode 8, of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, series one.

With two more episodes to go?   Episode eight is setting the bar …

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 7 — Maria and the Beast — A Review

7th June, 2020.

Yes: I have been stuck indoors!

Waiting for a boiler repair man.

Long story: but basically?

The thermostat’s gone home!

I hate being stuck indoors … but sometimes, you can’t avoid it.

At any rate … ?

At least I could catch some TV.

You’re right.

Another episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels’s first series.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 6 — How It Is with Brothers — A Review

31st May, 2020.

It’s got to be said: I’ve learnt, over the years, to put the work in.

You have to, with a YouTube channel.

So I’ve spent most of today staring at a monitor, happily editing.

And part of this evening … ?

Staring at a TV!

Yes: it’s another Sunday night: which means another episode of the first series of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.

It’s got to be said, Nathan Lane is very impressive!

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 5 — Children of The Royal Sun — A Review

24th May, 2020.

It has to be said … I’m single …

And trying to lose weight.

I even signed up — in January — for a weight loss class.

One with regular weigh-ins.

Which, of course, went to pot when Lockdown started … !

The sooner this is over?

The happier I’ll be!

~≈≈~

Ate any rate.

AT any rate!!

At any rate, I’ve done it again: managed to catch another episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels first series.

My lord … but this series is maintaining the quality!

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 4 — Josefina and the Holy Spirit — A Review

17th May, 2020.

It’s got to be said, it’s Sunday night: and I think I’m getting into something of a habit.

Earlier this year?

I managed to the twelfth series of Dr Who: that pile of reviews is on YouTube, if you’re interested.

And, with Sunday night’s free, at the moment … ?

I’m catching up with more TV!

Whilst listening to Revolution 9 …

And listening to Cabaret Voltaire’s Chance Versus Causality.

Which are both amazing … but not necessarily amazing as what I’ve been watching on TV.

Yes: I’ve caught another episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels first series.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 3 — Wicked Old World — A Review

10th May, 2020.

Yes: it’s official: I’ve both eaten diner … and washed up.

Well, it was that or let the plates pile up in the sink.

The one thing I think I can safely say?

Is that it’s the first time I’ve made mashed potatoes, myself … out of real potatoes.

Rather than, say, instant mashed spud.

Being honest … ?

I think I made a little too much … and possibly didn’t get all the lumps out.

But I’m rather pleased I managed to make some.

And I’ve managed to sit myself down and watch some TV!

You’d possibly guessed that from the poster, haven’t you?

Yes: I’ve caught another series one of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 2 — Dead People Lie Down — A Review

3rd May, 2020.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of vegetables, must be in want of a pot.

Or something to cook them in.

Frankly?

I’m a single bloke who is just getting the hang of cutlery …

Cutlery and cooking pots.

Yeah …

You possibly don’t want to imagine how taken me to get the hang of boiling carrots …

~≈⇪≈~

At any rate … ?

This is not a cookery blog.

If it was, I’d doubt I’d get much in the way of traction.

Not with my limited cookery skills.

No …

This … isn’t coo …

No, wait, I’m burbling!

It’s Sunday night.

And … ?

And I’ve just caught the second episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels first series …

Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — Series 1 Episode 1 — Santa Muerte — A Review

26th April, 2020.

Yes: it’s a definite … I’ve had dinner … !

Just in case you were wondering about what I was cooking, during the recording of that intro video … !

Peas, a baked spud … and some mince … if you must know.

Am I a good cook?

Possibly not …

Although I doubt that, were I to do dinner for you … ?   I doubt I’d end up poisoning you.

I don’t know if you’d enjoy the food, but you’d still be alive at the end of the meal.

At any rate … ?

I’ve not sat down with a good TV show for a while: but knew Penny Dreadful spinoff, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels was due out, today.

If the first episode of the first series is anything to go by … ?

This could be good!
