It looks like it’s going to be raining!

My nephew, Jude, was over, yesterday.

After we’d done the toying around with Image Playground — I won’t post the picture, they “… make my nose look flared!” — he managed to make a video, and post it to YouTube.

Right, I’ve officially had the interview.

Yesterday, so you know.

I’m job hunting at the moment: something regular readers will already know.

And had an interview, yesterday, for a Brentwood-based insurance company.

It … 

I have to admit, it seemed to go well.

But will find out, by January, at the earliest.

Here’s hoping …

You know, there’s times I despair at humanity, sometimes.

I’ve always thought well of the Reverend Richard Coles‡: presenter of Saturday Live, and The Big Painting Challenge.

So, when I heard his partner, Reverend David Coles, had died?   I was sympathetic.

And angry, too.

It seems Reverend Coles has been getting hate mail.

Ye GODS … !

I think the last think any one who’s lost a husband/wife/partner wants in these circumstances is some bloody idiot telling them their loved one’s going to hell.

The fact police are investigating, may well be small consolation.

All I can do … ?

Is hope the idiots who’ve done this get caught.

Is offer my condolences to Reverend Coles.

And remind the senders of the hate mail about Matthew — 7:12.

Yes: the word of the day — and one that’s a frequent visitor to my life — is Bugger … !

I’ve sent off the drivers license form, yesterday.

Complete with fee, photo, proof of ID.

Sent the thing off, yesterday: registered post, wouldn’t you know.

And realised something, this morning, at about half past six … ?

I’d forgotten to sign the bloody form … 

This is going to take a while, isn’t it … ?

On other fronts?   Ones LESS worrying for me?

It seems that Gatwick is … 

Not back to normal … but reopening for business.

Which is reassuring to know.

Frankly?

I’m curious to know what the hell — beyond a drone holding up a lot of planes — went on, there.

Apparently?   Police say there’s no links to terrorism: and are investigating whether it’s environmental activists … 

Which makes sense.

Although my cynical side?

Is wondering if it’s some little twit who’s got a drone as an early Christmas present … and wants to show off* …

Granted: it’s only a pound an hour.

And granted, it’ll get eaten by the ticket price rise in January.

I think I know what she means!

Bless, I’ve just been chatting to Patrice — someone I know through Facebook — about all sorts of things.

As a result … ?

Well, as a result, Frank Zappa’s Valley Girl got a mention.

Patrice, bless her, was surprised!

By the fact it really was possibly the only Zappa tune I’d heard!

And managed to introduce me to this one he did on the US version of Saturday Night Live, a few years ago.

Now I don’t know if it was done in the same studio as this …

But both are great tunes!
